A simple yet powerful tool to remember new words. Best vocabulary building book I have ever read. Nobody can deny the fact that an extensive command over the English language is the need of the hour but many people develop the fear of English just because of the difficult words that appear recurrently in newspapers and magzines - hindering the smooth reading process.

I am really impressed of the system Mr. Abhishek Jain implements in this book (part of VoLT Education). without a shadow of doubt, this book calls for people to not only familiarise with its content, but to have it as an on-hand tool on their bookshelves. I have a collection of lots of vocabulary books. However the numeric system that is used in this works more logically than any of them, especially for people coming from hindi background and having no or little knowledge of English. It proceeds step by step to the "word" to "key" to "the length of sentences" to the "usage". I'm very sure that by following this method, anyone can build on his existing or no vocabulary. I am a graduate student and I emphatically recommends this book to anyone: high school students, college students, business professionals, whoever wants to enhance their vocabularyfor self-improvement or for scholastic tests.

Well I must confess that I had to try a lot of books to get a grip on comprehension for CAT! It is tough without vocab and I realised it pretty late in my preparation as we focus too much on gen studies! Well, VoLT came as a breather as it had a nice mix of words which pop up in lengthy comprehension! It aslo made me grasp the Hindi well! It's a must buy from my side! Double thumbs up

One can read the complete book in few days and can remember all the frequently used words for CAT, GRE, GMAT, SAT, SSC, Bank PO etc. without any cramming, flash cards etc. Best use of the Psychological technique of association. Also there are USAGES given with every word which are really very helpful for all competitive exams and for using the word in day to day conversation.

Very innovative and unique way to learn vocabulary which at one point of time make the vocabulary learning a fun and at another point of time a interest hence beautiful amalgamation. It basically connect the vocabulary learning to real life and hence explored the new way of learning which considered the psychological perspective. Also VoLT is very useful for all set of exams as GRE, CAT,GMAT, SSC etc in which vocab is prerequisite. Now I am eagerly waiting for the next volume. The words you choose to say something are just as important as the decision to speak and to speak and to speak well are two different things. A fool may talk, but a wise man speaks. VoLT is definitely the key to be a wise man, not because of the vocabulary given in this but coz of the awesome technique to remember these words and also the bet mentioned by the author is very true that we will never forget a word after reading this book. Awesome book ...must read for everyone ...who want to be wise.
